What it measures

CO₂ ppm

Tracks carbon dioxide continuously. Low CO2 slows photosynthesis. High CO2 signals poor ventilation. Know the level before the plant does.

Temperature °C

Reads air temperature around the clock. Day-night swings affect germination, flowering, and disease pressure. Track both extremes, not just the average.

Relative humidity %RH

Measures humidity at the node location. High humidity above 80% RH opens the door to mold, botrytis, and mildew. See the climb before it reaches the canopy.

Air pressure hPa

Tracks barometric pressure in real time. Pressure drops often precede incoming weather. Pair it with temperature and humidity to read what is coming before it arrives.

Light intensity lux

Measures ambient light at crop level. Different crops need different DLI targets. Know whether your light delivery matches what the crop actually receives in each room.

Soil moisture %

Reads substrate water content continuously. Over-watering and under-watering both show in root health and yield. Water on a reading, not a schedule.

IP65-rated enclosure

The enclosure meets IP65 under IEC 60529. Dust tight and jet-water resistant. It sits in the room and keeps working through daily watering, cleaning, and condensation.

Wireless by design

No cables to run, no conduit to plan. The node connects over long-range wireless and reaches from far corners where WiFi fades. Place it where the reading matters, not where the cable reaches.

Battery powered

Runs on a built-in battery for a long stretch on a single charge. No mains cable needed. Move the node between rooms without replanning power.

Over-the-air updates

Firmware updates arrive remotely. Your node gains improvements without a site visit or a cable connection. Security patches reach the node the same way.

Validated in a live greenhouse

A pilot node ran at the HAMK industrial greenhouse at Lepaa and collected 7,072 readings at 60-second intervals. The data held up. The design is proven in a real growing environment.

EU cybersecurity ready

Every reading leaves the node under TLS with signed payloads. No reading transmits without authentication. Built to meet EU RED and EN 18031 cyber rules before they become mandatory.
