VIB Innovaatio builds connected hardware for greenhouses. PhyriaPulse is our first product, and it grew out of real greenhouse data.

The name

PhyriaPulse

Phyria draws from the Greek root for plant life and growth. It places the plant at the center of everything we do.

Pulse is what a greenhouse has. Every 60 seconds, the node reads the air, the light, and the soil and sends that signal out. Miss that rhythm and you miss what is happening to your crop.

Put them together and the name says exactly what the product is. A continuous, living signal from the plants themselves.

Our story

Built from real data.

PhyriaPulse grew out of real greenhouse data. Here is how it happened.

First deployment

A pilot node ran at the HAMK industrial greenhouse at Lepaa. It collected 7,072 readings at 60-second intervals. The data held up. The product works.

Commercial build

The design moved to custom-built hardware, a longer-life sensor set, and an enclosure designed to meet IP65 under IEC 60529, built for daily greenhouse use.

Pilot ready

The first production nodes are ready for trials. We are ready to place them with growers and prove the value in their own rooms.

Pilots with Finnish growers come first, then steady growth across the Nordics and the wider EU.

Core expertise

We build end to end.

Firmware in C and C++ on ESP32 runs the node. Every reading is accurate, every firmware update signed and delivered over the air without a site visit.

TLS with HMAC-signed payloads carries each signal safely to the cloud. No reading leaves the node without authentication. Security is not an option added later. It runs from the first line of code.

A Next.js and Supabase cloud platform stores and processes the data. A React dashboard surfaces it in real time on any screen.

Every layer is built in-house. No black boxes, no single-vendor dependency on the core product. When something needs fixing, we fix it.

What we stand for

Three things we do not compromise on.

Security first. Security is built in from the start. TLS, signed over-the-air updates, no hardcoded credentials. EU cyber rules are coming. We are already there.

Open data. The grower owns every reading the sensors collect. Full export at any time, no lock-in, no data held hostage to a subscription.

Direct support. We install, configure, and maintain the system ourselves. A person answers, not a ticket queue. Support runs in Finnish and English, in your time zone.

Phyria and Pulse. Plant life and living signal. The name was right from the start. We build for the growers who keep food growing.
